Introduction:This month we are doing a feature for Brides and their families. I have invited some wonderful people to share their expertise and advice with the bride. Today we are featuring Mollie Openshaw with Polka Dots & Daisies. Below are some examples of her new wedding invitation designs. This year Chocolates & Soft Blues are very popular. But as always the best colors are your favorites- they show who you are. Mollie has put together an ABC's of wedding invitations to help the bride with planning out her invitations.

The ABC's of wedding invitations:

A{Always plan ahead}Invitations need to be sent out about 3-4 weeks prior to your wedding date so that means you'll want to start working on them long before that so you won't have to stress about getting them addressed and mailed last minute!

B {Be Original}Your invitation is what gets your guests excited about your wedding and lets them see the personalities of you and your fiance as well as giving them a taste of your wedding atmosphere... make sure that your invitation truly captures who YOU are.

C {Count correctly}When counting the number of guests that will need invitations make sure that you count households rather than each guest individually so you don't end up ordering lots more than you need (although it is always good to order a few extra invites for those last minute guest list additions!).
